At a democracy summit and before, President Joe Biden suggested the only alternative to democracy is an autocracy, a system in which one person has absolute power. That is the infantile comprehension level of arguably the most powerful man we are all supposed to follow on planet earth.
All or nothing is the limit of Joe Biden’s gubernatorial intelligence, no different from his predecessors attempting to keep the practice of dysfunctional governance alive.
“There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who believe there are two kinds of people in this world and those who are smart enough to know better.”
TOM ROBBINS
Joe Biden creates a stark and artificial contrast between following the United States of America and submitting to the dictatorship of North Korea. No doubt, for ease of persuasion, China is lumped into the latter autocratic category, inferred by Xi Jinping’s seemingly unchallengeable reign.

Joe Biden is clearly not smart enough to know better.
You see, the evolution of humanity is not best served by the amalgam of human wants to be tallied by democracy. It is served by human needs as defined by nature’s first-principles. Nature’s first-principles dictate how the excellence and longevity of humanity are predicated on human adaptability to nature’s entropy.

Now tell me, dear Joe, what theory of humanity have you developed to improve human adaptability to nature’s entropy? What systems have you developed to improve the strength of human renewal? What paradoxical rules to freedom have you established to prevent laissez-faire governance from running amok?

American democracy is a glorious mess. Not because you cannot build a democracy where the people are made to believe they have a say. The people can act as the referee to the natural systems that embed the theory of humanity. In the same way, a referee in soccer does not establish gameplay but enforces compliance with predetermined rules.
A vibrant democracy establishes a distinct role between the government and its people. The best example is the one set by Lee Kuan Yew, the late premier of Singapore. He resurrected Singapore from “nothing” into a vibrant nation rivaling American GDP with no debt. He did it by first establishing and enforcing the principles by which the collective interest of Singapore is served.

In soccer, the governing body of soccer does the same. It determines the theory of gameplay and develops the systems embedding said gameplay. Then, and only then, do the people play the game, and the referees, selected from the credentialed population, whistle for infractions.
The democracy of the United States of America is tied to the commandments of a 240-year-old constitution incapable of inferring a viable or reliable theory for humanity. It fails for the same reason the commandments of the bible do not imply a viable theory for humanity. Hence, abiding by American democracy is like abiding by the bible, inducing the sleep of reason, submitting to a celestial dictator, and hoping for a better future.

Please do not fall for American democracy, as it is dysfunctional solipsism pur sang, incompatible with the vector for humanity that improves human adaptability to nature’s entropy we should be strengthening. And it shows.
We must lead the world with new rigors of excellence, deploying an evolutionary meritocracy better suited to serve the renewable interests of humanity.
