Authoritarian Like Nature

We, in the United States of America, have an awesome responsibility. We can lead the world – by example – with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves. And yet today, we have no plan for humanity.

Comeuppance

We barrel down a road of endless suboptimization of a constitution that has failed to define human excellence in the context of evolution. To no surprise, for when we first instituted the constitution, we had more provincial issues to contend with.

We create history with our observation, and not history to create us.

— Steven Hawking (1942-2018), Theoretical Physicist

We should not expect forward-looking miracles from a scripture frozen in time. A scripture even Thomas Jefferson realized needed to be rewritten every thirty years.

Under the cover of our constitution’s laissez-faire playbook, we created a barrage of self-fulling prophecies that violate nature’s principles, now projected to turn the lifespan of the human species into the shortest lifespan of any known major species on our planet.

Are you satisfied with that? I am not.

In contrast to the wish for unbridled personal freedom, nature, upon which we depend for survival, is extremely authoritarian. The rules of nature cannot be messed with. Humanity has tried. Yet, nature responds with remarkable patience. A patience running out of patience and increasingly putting the smackdown on us.

Coming To Terms

How dare we blindly assume humanity’s elective considerations, our wants, meet nature’s obligatory rule? What makes us think we even rule the roost of nature? Or even our own? The coronavirus pandemic should make clear to us we have no say. We can only adapt to nature’s entropy, the ever-declining availability of energy on our planet.

Our planet has existed without us for 4.5 billion years and will continue to do so with or without us for another 3.5 billion years. To prolong the lifespan of the human species, we must study, comprehend, and implement the unshakable first-principles by which nature determines the evolution of anything on our planet.

Life becomes extremely simple and purposeful when you follow a plan. A plan I created that is nature’s, not ours to keep.

The sign of a vibrant, innovative nation is its willingness to pursue the ever-unfolding discovery of nature's truth and reinvent itself continually against those proven new normalizations upstream. Let’s inspire the world with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
