My interpretation correlates with nature.
Disruptive technology attaches to a higher normalization of (evolutionary) truth than previously existed. A new truth upstream delivers prime value, eventually spawning a new delta of downstream sub-optimizations of said truth gradually commoditizing in value and price.
Downstream innovation is slowly running out of options awaiting a new iteration of upstream, as in nature’s perpetual hydrologic cycle.
