The European Union and Eurozone are not the same, but I hope the Eurozone falls apart, for humanity should progress towards an increased granularity of freedom and sovereignty, not towards a decrease.
As a former European, I have seen the beauty of individualism getting sucked out in the transition towards a United States of Europe. They are designed by humans who do not understand that our minute but crucial differences are more relevant to the evolution of humanity than the regurgitation of our stifling commonalities.
The Eurozone is on the wrong side of evolution, but it is not the first, and it will not be the last time humanity capitulates to the wrong kind of evolutionary principles.
