Can Better Watchdog Financial Journalism Prevent The Next Financial Crisis?

No. Watchdogs tend to only highlight consequential infractions, not causal connection driving the infractions. But watchdogs can identify how bad the depravity of reason is stemming from a confounding of cause and consequence (Nietzsche), leading in turn to more emphasis on the need to repair the causal connection.

I have yet to see a watchdog define the causality of why a system fails instead of focusing on the unending consequential infractions. And an expert who revels in consequence is merely a rebel without a cause.
