Is The World Better Off Without Pharma Companies?

First off, the world is not built with humanity in mind, nor does the world require humanity to exist to dynamically recalibrate its evolutionary equilibrium of the past 4.5 billion years with another 3.5 billion years or so to go. The world is rather unfazed by the minute 2.5 million years or so of human presence on earth. Our responsibility is to live in an optimal equilibrium with nature, not for earth’s sake, but for our own sake.

So, does the introduction of pharmaceuticals strengthen the renewal of humanity responsible for the prolonging of human sustainability? I think not. We see the average age in the U.S. has declined since 2015, in no small part induced by the human atrophy caused by an addiction to and dependence on prescription drugs by 70% of Americans, inducing a hereditary weakening of our natural defenses.

But are the pharmaceutical companies to blame for those who lose the responsibility for their health and become dependent on pharmaceuticals? I prefer to blame the operating-systems of humanity that determine what can be discovered (Einstein), over the pharmaceutical players who merely take our irresponsible evolutionary game for a glorious ride.

It is important to discern between cause and consequence to not fall victim to the grave depravity of reason (Nietzsche). The omnipresent and wildly advertised pharmaceutical products being a sad consequence of our ignorance to the causation of human excellence.

The sign of an intelligent nation is its willingness and ability to reinvent itself, upstream. Let’s inspire the world with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
