That very much depends on the appetite and alignment of your foresight as an entrepreneur to break the norm. Breaking the norm requires you have developed a higher normalization of truth the venture firm is willing to buy into.
Such buy-in requires at least the venture firm to have the same dissenting views of the status quo as you do. And second, it requires the venture firm to believe in the foresight of your solution to deliver the best new rendition and timely ability to execute, derived from such truth.
So, the way to find out which venture investor is right for you starts with an alignment on the dissenting views, subsequently followed by an alignment of the best solution to such dissenting views.
Being aligned on the upside of both is necessary to ensure both parties are prepared to deal with the inevitable downside aberrations to hit the fan along the way.
