A bad idea. We have had our share of social celebrities running the government, not to significant improvement or impact, no matter which side of the political aisle you may be rooting for.
The problem with humanity and the reason why the smartest animal is bound to live the shortest of all major species is that we have built the wrong systems to manage and explore ourselves. And who governs those flawed systems will not fundamentally change their outcome.
We must reinvent our operating-systems for humanity to, in the words of Einstein, have a new thesis to determine what can be discovered. A thesis away from the dumb totalitarian monisms of absolutism in violation of the most rudimentary principles of freedom that is.
And to strengthen the renewable evolution of humanity is not the expertise Oprah has demonstrated to have any interest in; in fact, she has communicated consequential viewpoints contrarian to what induces the causal excellence of humanity. And an expert who revels in consequence is a rebel without a cause.
Nevertheless, Oprah could hardly be worse than our current President. But it is high time we stop electing the best of the worst and instead elect the best of the best.
