To What Extent Is Economics More Of A Science Than An Art?

Economics is voodoo, hopelessly lost in the depravity of reason, in the words of Nietzsche, stemming from confounding of consequence and cause, as I explain here.

Economics is not a science, for it does not challenge its assertions based on contrarian observations of reality, new normalizations of truth or reason. Economics is an art only in the sense that it has artfully enthralled many a hopeless policy-maker, in the same way, any other religion carved from frozen and unverifiable scripture attracts only the hopeless.

The sign of an intelligent nation is its willingness and ability to reinvent itself, upstream. Let’s inspire the world with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
