Let’s put the relativity of sustainability in perspective.
In reality, all sustainability is finite and thus an evolutionary oxymoron, a false supposition of absolutism refuted by relativity constrained by time. For example, our sun will not provide light forever, as it will implode then explode, as all stars in the universe are known to do. One every second in our solar system, to put the relativity of sustainability in perspective.
The prolonging of sustainability itself predicated on the renewability of its composition. Meaning prolonged sustainability is at best a mere consequence of renewal at its cause. The cause of continual renewal igniting a mere proxy of sustainability as a consequence, and in that order.
So,
There are no sustainable resources, only renewable resources forming ever-changing proxies of sustainability.
Georges van Hoegaerden
The dialectic between sustainability and renewal is not about mere semantics, as the difference between cause and consequence is not, and the rules used to promote the supposition of sustainability are quite different from the rules to yield renewal. A subject for a forthcoming article.
