Yes. Suspend the pageantry of positivity for a moment to realize the way we manage ourselves will make the most intelligent animal on earth live the shortest.
Our manmade systems will indeed further collapse, as we have already witnessed the collapse. This will continue until we reinvent the foundational principles we subjugate our systems to. Do not act surprised when some of us boast feverishly about patching up embarrassing consequences in the meantime, in a continuation of our evolutionary denial.

Instead, we must reinvent our manmade systems to learn from and abide by the rules of evolution (as we evolve to discover them), and ensure our systems are not in grave conflict with nature, for we depend on nature for survival. To that point, infinite growth, as the methodology by which we humans currently appraise and remunerate merit, is not at all how nature assigns merit.
Evolution assigns merit to the quality – rather than quantity – of renewal, and subsequently rewards only such evolving prime quality with improved longevity of sustainability. Nature deploys many other rudimentary principles we blatantly violate, not in the least the very principles of freedom.

We have built manmade systems in direct conflict with nature. A rat-race of evolutionary ignorance we are bound to lose if we do not change the pertinent principles at the foundation of how we respect and treat each other.
