One should not resist capitalism, for the concept of capitalism is OK, our execution not so much. An avoidance of capitalism would lead to socialism someone else needs to pay for.
Remember, capitalism is the concept you are getting paid money (or another remuneration) for services provided. If we all do nothing and hold up our hand, we will inevitably revert to the pillage-and-plunder of our ancestors to get what we want rather than earned.
The reason why capitalism has failed to maximize its potential is that it has not been subjugated to a meritocracy, in which the merit of money is directly correlated to gains in evolutionary value to us all. Such a meritocracy can only result from a new relativity theory of freedom in which freedom itself is freed and thus continually reassigns merit, regardless of status.
Quite the opposite to the oligarchic freedom in our current implementation of capitalism that artificially reduces and restricts the mobility of the have-nots and keeps the haves in a regurgitated position of delusional power.
