It is not. Valuations differ significantly in value, in the same way, “greater-fools” differ significantly from people who think independently.
It just happens the world is full of “greater fools” to whom you can sell a lot of junk, as the snake-oil accelerant to the evolution of humanity. Until, of course, after the dust of the final run of its financial engineering has settled post-IPO, and even “greater-fools” have figured out the bottom of make-believe is bound to fall out.
I love and believe in the value of technology, not in the distribution of false promises by technology, a ruse I see-through. And my twelve-year-old daughter who asked the question, representing the next generation of independent thinkers and users, I am glad to discover, does too.
