Our current version of capitalism is in blatant violation of the most rudimentary principles of freedom, even within the realm of a supposition of freedom sold as a totalitarian elixir to the world today. Our current version of capitalism is a dumb economic religion, a religion that demonstrably harms the renewability of the evolution of humanity.
First, the notion of using capital as a driver to produce evolutionary value to humanity is not a bad one, but then the merit of such capital distribution must be aligned directly to the renewable evolutionary value it spawns. Our current version of capitalism does nothing of the sort.
Second, capitalism must be subjugated to freedom for it to become renewable in its distributions, and in tune with its continual contribution to our changing evolution. Hence such freedom cannot be a one-size-fits-all type of absolutism of freedom but must be aligned with a relativity theory of freedom. We currently appreciate nothing of the sort.
Third, freedom consists of two types, personal freedom, and collective freedom. In order for freedom to exist, the trust in the protection of collective freedom must be paired with the interests in personal freedoms. Hence real freedom can only exist when it is paired with paradoxical rules of collective freedom. We have deployed freedom without preemptive paradoxical rules, and thus we yield quite the opposite of free and fail to obtain the trust we collectively must gain from it.
Point is, we are still applying a flat-world of economics to a world full of relativity. A systemic incompatibility from which we all witness a continuous stream of negative consequences. The negative output that should make us all want to reinvent the religions we bow down to.
