Capitalism, in its current form, is a rebel without a cause — one in dire need of reinvention.
Yes, it is time to end the type of flat-world capitalism that contributes nothing to the strengthening of the renewability of mankind, one that instead creates endless, mindless, selfish and apathetic consumerism in disregard to our equilibrium with nature, breeding not much more than a few rich men in the cemetery.
You see, none of the terms we so easily slosh around in the schools of conventional wisdom, like capitalism, wealth, democracy, freedom, GDP, socialism, etc. contribute anything to the renewability of mankind. For as the systems they portray to be, they lack specificity, lack universal understanding, lack universal appeal, and lack universal benefit, and deploy a supposed excellence of absolutism entirely incompatible with the relativity of human ingenuity and capacity, and moreover demonstrate to be the safe havens for a few to take unsuspecting innocence for a selfish ride.
None of these terms (like capitalism), their definitions, or their implementations take into account or subjugate to nature’s rules, the ones human evolution is predicated on. Making them in their current form rebels without a cause and as such unworthy of further dissection, and moot in assessing or driving the real value of human ingenuity and capacity.
It is high time to reinvent our systems of human excellence, and I will.
