I do support the notion of capitalism, yet only when it is predicated on real freedom. The excellence of such a system that can only begin to form when we create a dynamic meritocracy based on a relativity theory of freedom in the pursuit of a renewable evolution of humanity, not quite like the Neanderthal version of capitalism we have deployed today.
The evolutionary ignorance by which we build all systems, not just capitalism, is responsible for the infinite regression of the renewability of humanity (longer individual life-spans paired with an increasing dependence on medicine causing the propagation of massive and spiraling evolutionary weakness).
That same evolutionary ignorance has already produced a non-renewable financial system eleven times the size of production in the U.S., with a system rigged to prop up individual short-term gains, and mindless consequential (not causal) corrections applied when the bottom of long-term and societal benefits falls out again.
So, indeed, the current version of capitalism I cannot support either, like many concerned with our future, cannot. To fix capitalism, we must realign the merit of money, away from nebulous wealth creation towards the pursuit of renewable evolutionary value and a healthy continual equilibrium with nature.
