The most fundamental flaw is that our economic religion plays hooky with freedom.

Our economic systems deploy a monism of freedom, steeped in oligarchic absolutism, while human capacity can only be captured by a plurality and more specifically a relativity theory of freedom.
Hence our economic performance of today is a highly inaccurate proxy of the potential performance of humanity and not all supportive, but by its current monism instead regressive to the evolution of mankind. The reason why our prevailing religion of economics must be kicked to the curb, as it is founded upon the wrong principles.
