I would not agree with a lack of economic literacy in this country. There is a lot of economic literacy, but it is the literacy of a voodoo “science” nonetheless. I prove it wrong with elementary-level math as the systemic confounding of consequence and cause.
One can develop a lot of literacy (i.e. knowledge about a subject) in astrology with its foundational principles being unproven and make-believe. What is needed in the field of economics is the equivalent of astronomy, not the equivalent of astrology in economics we portray as our best version of the truth today.
We must reinvent the operating-system of humanity.
