Well, capitalism is its own worst enemy today because it is not subjugated to real freedom. Hence most pursuits of capitalism today are in complete ignorance of the quality and renewability of the evolution of humanity, and thus erosive to capitalism itself.
Being true to oneself can mean one is selfish, and one may not care about the longevity of humanity, as many do. And in that way, the pursuit of today’s flawed implementation of capitalism is a perfect fit. Today’s flawed implementation of capitalism is the ideal breeding ground for insecure people, who need money and power as their pacifier to get through another day.
Yes, you can be a great capitalist when your personal goals are paired with the goals of evolutionary integrity. Meaning you care about your well-being as much as you respect the diversity of and solidarity with others. Because only such solidarity will provide renewability to society.
Only real freedom (as a relativity theory) that tears apart the totalitarian oligarchic absolutism of freedom of today can systematically promote the diversity of capabilities and interests that breathes life in all of us.
We must reinvent the operating-systems of humanity.
