Capitalism must be subjugated to real freedom, unleashed from the oligarchic controls embedded in our current implementation of freedom.
Without real freedom, capitalism is merely a grand masquerade of modern-day slavery tied to the celebration of selfish short-term interests in blatant disrespect to our long-term evolutionary needs.
I will describe what real freedom means in my upcoming book, too much to cover in this answer. But with real freedom comes a real meritocracy to which capitalism takes on whole new meaning.
The resistance to challenge and change capitalism based on the new playbook of freedom I propose comes from those who thrive on the establishment of our current oligarchic controls of capitalism. And with that resistance comes massive disregard of human capacity and respect.
Our world deserves better than for us to play hooky with freedom.
