Man, Not Nature, Is The Biggest Threat To Mankind

Related to questions I frequently get about climate change. And my standard answer now, not to diminish the need to maintain our equilibrium with nature, is a redirection towards our role as humans to preserve ourselves to the best of our ability first.

The biggest threat to humanity is manmade, inherent to the conformance to our dumb manmade systems. We have built systems to implement and maintain a monism of freedom, preached as the gold-medal winner of freedom to the rest of the world. A totalitarian monism of freedom quite the opposite of free.

Let me explain what it means to deploy real freedom.

The sign of an intelligent nation is its willingness and ability to reinvent itself, upstream. Let’s inspire the world with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
