Why Does Facebook Believe A Monoculture Fed By Advertising Is Good For The World?

Monocultures flatten the world and reduce the ability to discover our crucial differences needed to drive our evolution. So, why does Facebook believe it inspires the world with a totalitarian monoculture driven by advertising interests?

BTW: Such an approach did not work out well for television, as content promulgated by advertising interests leads to a conflict of interest with the values consumers are interested in.

I posed this question to Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg in a supposed live-session on Quora knowing full-well that any totalitarian approach for the world is a flawed one. A problem omnipresent with many technology applications and a reason why they are often shunned by certain countries in the world who take their sovereignty serious.

I will let my readers know when I get a response.
