Why Has GDP Growth Not Shot Up Despite The Internet’s Revolutions?

Internet businesses have yet to build renewable socioeconomic value.

First, GDP is a highly irrelevant metric to economic performance. In the same way, the score of soccer is no indication of the game played. Second, many popular technology innovations (put on top of the internet) are snake-oil sold to greater-fools in a world of make-believe. They violate the most rudimentary principles of freedom and thus drive the antithesis of renewable economic value.

Hence, any correlation between the two yields no causation.

The sign of an intelligent nation is its willingness and ability to reinvent itself, upstream. Let’s inspire the world with new rigors of excellence we first and successfully apply to ourselves.
