Income equality is a runner-up to the dumbest idea of the century. People are not the same, and they bring different skills to a job. So, their salaries should be different.
The bigger problem is that we do not have a meritocracy, and instead, we use modern-day slavery to take advantage of people with low-income and fewer options. So, establishing a minimum wage that affords a humane lifestyle is essential. If, as a CEO, you can’t afford a decent minimum wage, you simply don’t have a business.
